First of all, thanks a lot for the HID Bluetooth profile in the 1.0.7 update, it's really appreciated.

A small bug report on this, I know that the SW keyboard being present at the same time than a BT keyboard is mentioned in the known bugs of 1.0.7, but it is there anyway and typing on it after having used the BT keyboard in the same text entry mess up the text layout.

To reproduce :

  • open the note application and create a new one ;
  • type some text with the BT keyboard, like "hello. G" (finish with a letter) ;
  • enter then two letters or more on the SW keyboard ;
  • type again on the BT keyboard ;
  • delete with the delete key of the SW, the inside letters typed with the SW are deleted ;
  • delete with the BT keyboard, the cursor jump to the previous letters.

EDIT : correct the procedure to obtain the bug.

I guess that all BT keyboards should behave the same. Before buying a fancy one for myself, I've tried with the Apple one of my wife. It's working as expected, even more since even the volume control buttons are working !

I reported this bug, but besides many things are working well, like the selection with Shift key and arrows, the copy paste with Crtl+[cv]. So I'm very happy with this, and will use phone + BT keyboard for note taking in conferences.

Great news. Hoping for a key mapping option to allow opening pulley menus as well.
