I am trying to add my company MS Exchange E-Mail that we had to migrate to and get and error msg. "Oops, account could not be added" - Device does not support all server settings and policies required by this account.

I'm new to MS Exchange never used it before. So here is what I have done. (MS Exchange setup on company iPad works without any problems). I have O365 account and using Office Light plan, so no IMAP available :(

Microsoft Exchange Account:
Enter email address: name.surename@company.co.uk
Enter username: name.surename@company.co.uk
Password: myE-MailPassw0rd
Enter server domain: outlook.office365.com

click on Accept and get next screen
Account information: name.surename@company.co.uk
x - Email
- People
x - Calendar

x - Sync automatically

Peak interval: Always up-to-date
Off-peak interval: Daily
Peak time start: 8:00
Peak time ends: 16:00
Peak days: Mon - Fri
Sync old emails: 3 days
Sync old events: 2 weeks
Resolve conflicts: Priority to server

x - Provisioning

And after hitting Save I will get Checking server settings and policies msg and then: Oops, account could not be added" - Device does not support all server settings and policies required by this account.

Here is info from (light version of Outlook Web App) I had to switch to to keep me sane using the e-mail;):

Does 365 require the device to be remotely wipable? From what i know that is one of the policies not implemented yet.

@Swl
I'm not sure, how would I find out? Is there any log file I can check?

I think @VDVsx can answer that much better than me.

@m2 - Can you access security settings of your acct ? If so make sure wipe is not enabled and number of alphanumeric characters is zero(device does not support this policies yet), office 365 send this even when simple passwords are allowed, we have a workaround to ignore that in next updates, see more info here: http://winsupersite.com/office-365/managing-mobile-devices-office-365 Your settings look correct this is just due to provisioning policies.

As of 1.0.8.19 Tahkalampi my e-mail now works on Jolla ;) I do not have access to "EAS management interface" so it looks that "wipe" has been implemented in 1.0.8.19 update.
