when Jolla is connected to car radio as bluetooth carkit (phonecalls) and aux cable (to play music). When then recieving a call the Ringtone is played trough speakers. After answering a call I assume that the caller can somehow hear me but I cannot hear callers voice untill I unplug Aux cable from Jolla's end. Car radio is going to Bluetooth mode when call is ringing or active. Dont know but for most cases I'm thinking it should use bluetooth when connected but then again it should be able to set it how you need it. forexample someone could have bt hf and have it at the trunk of a car and then could only use Jolla and not "hands free" aux.

You should use bluetooth for your music too. Simultaneous use of AUX and BT is not supported.

sadly, not every car radio is capable of that. mine for example...

ofcourse I would if it would work. but I think most of car kits have bt ver 1 or something which is not suitable for music playing.

Then I suggest not to use Bluetooth at all. Just use AUX and connect 4-pole AUX cable with microphone attached. That way you would listen music through aux, and would use AUX microphone for phonecalls.

nice, didn't know, those cables exist :)

thanks for the help. I just changed my car so I could use Jolla in it :p anyhow the current car doesnt have 4-pole aux but 3-pole. So that too is out of the question I'm afraid. It's not the biggest trouble to unplug aux cable just so it disconnects from Jolla. Ofcourse this distracts driving a bit but like said its not the biggest of our problems :)
