[bug] Latest Android support update created icon in launcher [answered]
I noticed there was an update to the Android support today so I updated it, and now the icon for the Android support is in my launcher. Tapping on the icon does nothing except making the screen scroll back to the overview of running apps just like it would when loading a normal app, except that nothing happens after that, it just stays on that view until you do something or the screen times out.
Rebooting fixes this issue, but I'm still curious as to what caused it.
after a reboot icon not there, app is visible in the jolla store, anybody knows what are the improvements ? Thanks

torcida ( 2014-06-18 01:29:27 +0200 )editProbably a phantom icon that got created temporarily for the installation spinner in the launcher (before the package is installed, Sailfish does not know that is has no icon, of course) and not cleaned up properly afterwards. Since the icon has no physical representation in the file system, it will be gone after a reboot.
