I have almost completed my app, however the background of the cover is dark, almost black - not transparent like the Settings app on the emulator.

I also get this error: [W] DeclarativeCoverWindow::DeclarativeCoverWindow:67 - DeclarativeCoverWindow: You also won't have cover transparency.

How do I get cover transparency? Thanks.

Can you show the code you have? Put it somewhere like gist.github.com and show the link here so people can inspect it. You can also join the IRC channel #sailfishos on Freenode and ask there.

At least your cover page for starters.

Do you have a CoverBackground in your Cover?

Nicd suggested there was a problem in Main.cpp

"Have you altered the main.cpp? If so, can you paste it? I have to go now but maybe someone else can help you forward"

And there was.

Solved!
