We love features, but... [not a question]
Sure, SailfishOS still lacks alot of basic and advanced features other mobile OS already have. I really apreciate the added features over the last months, but I would also like to have some additional focus by Jolla on this parts:
- bug fixes
- performance
- battery life
So why not plan doing every few releases a so called stability update which focus only on these 3 points without adding any new stuff?
What do other community members or Jolla sailors think about this?
I cannot do anything but agree with you. For instance, I was a bit surprised Jolla was working on an Android launcher instead of fixing the bugs (or even FLAWS) making the device barely usable... Good thing to attract android users to Jolla, but they should do it once they have a product that is at least stable :( Plus, many new features they add contains bugs themselves. This is a never ending circle of bugs... Please Jolla: test more, bring less "new features" and fix those damns bugs (reboots, no call received, battery life, performance in launcher,...).

Depends on personal usage, though - maybe a special app is eating up your phone's energy? The overall performance is pretty much okay for me, too, I can't compain. Yes, there are still bugs to be fixed, I agree with that. But I like the approach of doing releases containing bugfixes and new features, so there's something in for almost everybody.
