SalifishOS: Update8 Camera app: Cameraplus 0.0.26-10.82.1

I was at the botanic garden and took some photos, using both the default camera application and the Cameraplus. When I later to look at the photos, the gallery was kind of missing most of the photos, first I thought something was wrong with the camera application and it hadn't saved the photos at all, but looking in the ~/Photos/Camera directory I found the photos taken with both camera applications.

Not sure if the bug is in cameraplus or in the indexing of photos, as both cameras uses the same way to name photos and seems to count up correctly even if you use the other camera application in between and the files has the same permissions, so it shouldn't be that the indexing program don't have the permission to read them.

Only 4 of the photos visible in the Gallery was uploaded to google (I have auto upload of all photos), which makes it feel like the bug ain't the cameraplus application.

The short story: It's a regression in tracker which has been fixed internally and there is an updated cameraplus to work around the issue.

The long story: cameraplus informs tracker about the newly captured media by creating a virtual file in order to make the file info available to the platform even before tracker indexes it. This is mainly useful for harmattan and is not needed for Sailfish OS so it got dropped from the Sailfish OS version :)

This is an issue with tracker and cameraplus. Check this post by the creator of Cameraplus(and Jolla sailor @MSameer): http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=1432910&postcount=64 A new version of Cameraplus had been pushed out.Try it.

Updated my CameraPlus and that solved my problem with new pics not visible in Gallery. Nice, thanks =)

The command line you gave, worked, but it took like 5 days before everything had been made visible in the gallery and uploaded to the google account for indexing and selling to NSA.
