__1st problem observed:__
System Settings -> Sounds and feedback -> Ringtone -> Select from music files
click on one song (it starts playing)
click on that song again to stop it from playing
click on any other song

result: no sound at all
expected: sound playing

__2nd problem observed:__
System Settings -> Sounds and feedback -> Ringtone -> Select from music files
click on one song (it starts playing)
click on that song again to stop it from playing
click on any other song
accept that second song for ringtone

result: the original ringtone was not changed
expected: the second song should be ringtone

OS version: 1.0.2.5 Music files are ogg, flac, mp3

__EDIT by Nicd:__ Bug is still present in 1.0.5.19 and also happens when selecting a ringtone for an ambience.

Not confirming.

I have 1.0.2.5 and I can't reproduce the issue.

EDIT: I only tried to reproduce it with built-in sounds as I don't yet have any MP3 files on my devices. Testing that later...

I'm confirming both of these scenarios.

I'm confirming both. I also found one more step to first scenario you described.

  • click again that song you clicked in previous step

result: starts to play ringtone that was clicked first

expected: should play ringtone you clicked last

I have confirmed both of the bugs are still present in 1.0.5.19. It's really annoying and makes the preview feature pretty much useless. This also happens when choosing a ringtone for an ambience.

The songs are played correctly when you don't deselect them first. If you deselect a song and then select a different one, nothing is played. Now deselect that one, the first song is playing while nothing is selected. If you now select the first one again, the second song starts playing. In short: deselecting a song keeps it selected, will play when another one is deselected. Switching while song is playing actually changes the selected song. Select the song that's playing, it goes nuts.
