When I Qt.openUrlExternally() an URL of the form:

"mailto:someone@example.com?subject=subject&body=some text&attachment=/home/nemo/path/to/file"

mail client opens with subject and body filled, but no attachment created.

Please add support for 'attachment' parameter.

Attachment is not supported header, because mail's URL handler tries to support features defined in the specification RFC 2368 (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2368 ) and that specification does not define support for attachment header.

This explains why.

Yet googling "mailto attachment" shows it is supported by many clients. It would be a nice addition to Sailfish mail client.
