swisscom say the MMS have the false size.

the MMS-gateway should be configured correctly. otherwise I could not send a MMS.

Works for Sunrise which uses Swisscom Infrastructure, not sure if this helps.

Not sure about sending an MMS but I can say that I receive the MMS once during 6 to 7 days and I can open it no problem. Swisscom here.

Same problem with Swisscom here. Sending an MMS from the Jolla to other Swisscom subscribers does not work. Usually the other party does not receive anything at all. In case of the Jolla phone it cannot download the multimedia part giving an error. Plus the MMS are resent every 24 hours over a couple of days until the message expires at the Swisscom server. This even happens, when I send an MMS to myself from the Jolla.

I did call Swisscom Hotline a few months back when the feature was newly introduced via the update. They were very helpful and trying, but apart from a very generic approach like rechecking the settings, rebooting the device even with removing the battery n'all there was no success.

I'm not sure how to approach Swisscom again about this issue. Maybe if all Jolla owners with Swisscom subscription would call about this the same day, this would raise their alert level? Dunno...

I've just been sending and receiving several pictures via MMS using Swisscom and Jolla. Idk if Jolla or Swisscom changed something, but for me it works now to send/receive MMS to/from Swisscom network.

Can other Swisscom users confirm that? It could be that the problem got solved a while ago, but I haven't send an MMS for a while knowing it wouldn't work with my carrier.

I can confirm this. Sending an MMS to my own number (Swisscom) never worked before, but does now!

@lenggi: Thanks a lot for confirming! I'll close the question since this seems to be solved. If someone still has this issue please re-open the post.

Me Too I can confirm it works! I can send JPG, GIF and PNG to any other phone (Jolla or other brand) just fine. Thank you who fixed this, whoever you may are!
