Music in media hub not showing under Artists, Albums or All songs [answered]

I know there have been other questions submitted around the media hub and the use of micro-sd cards but I cannot find one that exactly matches the issue I'm having. I have a number of songs on my sd card which can be seen in File Browser. I have one playlist on the media hub with a number of favourites which play fine. However, none of my music shows up under 'All songs', 'Albums' or 'Artists'. This was not the case until a few weeks ago; everything showed up perfectly. So, to summarise the music is definitely there and will play but for some reason it doesn't recognise the artist or album. Any ideas folks? Re-booting and removing and re-inserting the micro-sd does not fix. I don't believe the issue is with the micro-sd as I have the same issue on another card and they both worked previously.

did you reset the tracker db yet?
