Since my phone was acting kind of strange, and I've never done a reset since I got it (and I'm one of The First One) I figured I could try a factory reset to see if it would improve my situation. Sadly it was the complete opposite. Besides the fact that my Gallery can't be recreated from my backup (so I lost almost a year of photos and videos), now my native apps doesn't start at all. The Jolla ones does, but not those installed via the apps store, or downloaded from OpenRepos. This is the error I get when trying to launch them from the terminal:

[nemo@Jolla ~]$ harbour-warehouse harbour-warehouse: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libsailfishapp.so.1: file too short

Does anybody recognize this issue? I can't find anything when searching.

Suppose something from warehouse caused this, perhaps by a faulty install etc. (eg flashlight uses this library). A suggestion is to reinstall libsailfishapp and see if that makes a difference.

pkcon install -y libsailfishapp

No, det problem was there before, but for apps installed via the jolla store. Tweetian for example. Friends works, strangely enough. How do I reinstall that library?

Thank you, that fixed the problem! I'll edit your answer to include the command, so it's a complete answer. I think that's best if somebody else has a similar issue.
