Annoying linked contacts [duplicate]

It happened to me two times now, that contacts were linked without my knowing. I was searching high and low for a contact I had previously entered - but I was not able to find it. Then, by accident, I found that it was linked to another contact. Linking of contacts is a good thing, if it links together different entries of the same person. But linking of different persons - "hiding" one person behind another - isn't quite such a good idea. It seems that it's possible to link persons by accident. This shouldn't happen and it's just annoying.
