Message / notification opens screen temporarily orientation lock
It's frustrating that every time when you're using temporarily screen orientation lock (yep, the one when you turn the phone when you hold your finger on the screen), the screen orientation will retrieve when you got notification. I use that lock a lot when reading news when laying in bed and wanting that screen stays vertically. Would be nice if notifications wouldn't effect this.
Indeed, the orientation lock gets "unlocked" whenever you change to another app. This includes being in the e-mail app and then opening an attachment.
I would have preferred it to work so that the screen orientation stayed locked, until the phone detected a change in the actual (physical) orientation.

I find the fact that the orientation lock gets unlocked whenever you change between apps to be sufficiently annoying so that whenever I use my phone lying down on my side, I first enter the settings and force the screen orientation to portrait mode. That's sad, since the temporary orientation lock feature is a really good idea to begin with.
