[Bug] Word 2013 files are not opened by native document reader [duplicate]
This is an annoying bug! When trying to open a Microsoft Word 2013 file, e.g. form a downloaded e-mail attachment, the document reader starts and immediately and silently crashes. Older document versions from MS Word are opened and read without any problems. Not tested with Excel and PowerPoint 2013, neither with documents created with Office 365 (but this is basically the same as Office 2013).
Please verify or falsify this issue and if affirmative, put it on top of your bug list. It would be a major drawback for using Jolla in my daily life, if this bug was to be confirmed and I had to wait for months for a new version of the document reader.
Note: edited because I first wrote "Word 2014", which is wrong obviously - it doesn't exist :-)
Why would this be a critical bug?

I still think Jolla has to target the business sector (or market or however you name it) as well. While many wished business relevant apps or functionalities are in an unknown wait state (see other questions), you are at least able to read the usual Microsoft Office documents with the native document reader app (along with PDFs and some other files).
Sadly or not, MS Office is still the most widespread document format in business, so I consider it a "must" for any mobile device I use, to be able to read them whenever and however they come in (obviously I don't ask for editing). And well, MS Office 2014 being the actually deployed and updated version, I expect support for it as soon as possible.
Btw, no flame war intended, I do work with Linux and other OS and I obviously support and advocate open platforms wherever I can. Nevertheless, many people need to have access to common business resources, and Jolla should support this demand, if they want to be successful and have a future.

Of course my friends will do so. The point is business use of Jolla. And the same way I get documents as PDFs, many send them as Word or Excel docs. You may rant or look away, but this doesn't help against the hard facts, that those format are quasi business standard nowadays.
