what actually is zypper?? how to use it? i am really not sure what itvis all about.... :(

Zypper is the native command-line interface of the ZYpp package manager for installing, removing, updating and querying software packages of local or remote (networked) media. Its graphical equivalent is the YaST package manager module.

How to use it?, well, it's not an app, it's a compliment to PKCON (package manager). I suggest you take a visit to http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=92036 and see there, uses for 'zypper'.

Be careful when playing with commands you don't understand, you can end up with a very expensive paper weight - if in doubt........
