Selectively enable specific system sounds

Right now you can have sound notifications either completely enabled or completely disabled. I'd like to keep my "battery's running low" sound, but not necessarily the "congratulations for unlocking your screen" sound. Currently you can probably solve that by removing some audio files from the filesystem (or putting empty ones in their place), but it would probably be nice if you can specifically enable or disable some of them.
Perhaps someone could come up with a Settings plugin (just like the Screen Usage app does), that shows you a list of these events and then renames files to .wav.inactive under the hood when you choose to disable them? That'd be cool.
