I noticed today when I was to change language that I had all languages on one line

English Finnish Swedish Traditional-Chinese

on one line, when I could kind of see only half of "English" and half of "Traditional Chinese".

This used to be split on two lines with two languages each.

NOTE: This issue still in 1.1.1.27

Have you tried setting different languages to see if the same thing happens? I followed your example and mine also displayed four languages on one line, by adding a 5th language, it then listed them on two lines, two top, three bottom.

If by swapping a few languages around doesn't solve your problem, then maybe to restart maliit services using Terminal, you will need to be in root for this one 'devel-su'

systemctl --user restart maliit-server.service

After restarting maliit, reboot the phone and check back to see if the problem is resolved.

Why restart the service and then reboot, faster to just reboot.

Thanks for the suggestion, but a 5th language ain't an option, the bug should be fixed in the GUI to split the row depending on how long the language name is than how many options there are.

@Markkyboy: restarting Maliit doesn't require root. Restarting the phone is also redundant because restarting Maliit should already fix the problem, and rebooting would just restart it again.

@Trizt: I've checked this and I can confirm the issue. It only seems to happen with specific language combinations, sometimes they get split into two lines and sometimes they don't.

Quite right @nthn@Trizt - I guess I didn't really know what I was talking about, just keen to help - oh well. at least I tried. I know better now.
