Is anyone aware of any sailfish apps for cloud drives like onedrive, dropbox, etc. I found sailbox for dropbox, but would really like one for onedrive.

These are the options with native SailfishOS apps [Update: 20.08.15]

The list includes apps from Jolla Store, and if you can't find them there, from Warehouse (use with caution!).

  • Box = FileCase
  • Dropbox = Sailbox, Cargo Dock, FileCase
  • Google Drive = FileCase
  • OneDrive = FileCase
  • ownCloud = Cargo Dock, ownCloud client (Beta)
  • general WebDAV (should also work with ownCloud) = Cargo Dock, FileCase

For other services you need to use Android apps or web access.

Thanks. Is there a way we can convince the developer of Cargo Dock to add support for OneDrive considering that he already has for Dropbox, Owncloud and WebDav?

I don't know :-) But Cargo Dock would be ideal to implement various cloud services. Cargo Dock also is open source, so everyone can contribute.

Maybe you can add your ideas here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=92140.

Cargo Dock also is on GitHub: https://github.com/pycage/cargodock

Thanks. The developer has commented in the thread that he will be adding more services. I guess its wait and watch now

I found this:

http://blogs.iis.net/robert_mcmurray/archive/2014/09/30/using-the-webdav-redirector-with-onedrive-part-1-standard-security.aspx

and tried to use it with the Webdav capabilities of Cargo Dock to access OneDrive via WebDav, but getting a 'server did not respond error'. Any ideas?

Sailbox doesn't work anymore for a long time now ...

For OneDrive, you will have to use Android App... if it works.

Update: Answer is now obsolete.

If Android, then ES-File-Explorer. Manages a whole bunch of cloud services, OneDrive incl.

OneDrive for Android works and that is what I currently have. But I would rather prefer native apps. It would be good if someone can create a native verssion - maybe one that supports multiple cloud drives.

Anybody got CloudMe WebDav to work? I have tried both Cargo Dock and FileCase without any success.

Edit: Letting the phone rest for a while, it automagically came to work in Cargo Dock. Server setting as webdav.cloudme.com and path as /user_name.

How did you enter server address in Cargo Dock? Should be webdav.cloudme.com/your_username, meaning NO http/https.

In FileCase there should be http://webdav.cloudme.com/your_username, NO https.

I tried pretty much every combination of how to enter address. But complaining seems to be the lucky shot ... Opening Cargo Dock to see what I did store, just to find out it now works, after letting the phone rest for an hour or so. Maybe there was a glitch in the matrix or something. Nevertheless, I have entered the server address as webdav.cloudme.com , and path as /user_name .

Im trying to access my box.com cloud with cargo dock via webdav, but it always gives out the error: "The server did not respond."

Im not really sure how I have to login. For ghostcloud I use https://dav.box.com:443/dav, which works fine. I have tried nearly every comination: https://dav.box.com:443/dav, webdav.box.com/username, www.box.com/username, https://dav.box.com/dav ... nothing works.

Does anyone know how I login in?
