Full disk encryption [duplicate]

iOS has it, Android has it, and it makes the border control people angry: full disk encryption. I think it is vital for a strong privacy-oriented phone to make it impossible to get to the data if it is switched off. With a strong pass-phrase entered on boot, which happens to be different from the lock PIN.

Symbian also had it. But on sailfish please some open source solution for more security
