Suggestion: Don't need mail running to update [duplicate]
I don't know why ... perhaps it is because I'm still not used to swiping yet, but I'd really love if mail updated itself without having the mail app running.

It works right now without having Mail being launched. The update rate is just slightly erratic. It is safer to leave the app open and pull to update right now.
A future update should bring update rate configuration.
Have a look at this post for a temporary solution. The email app does not need to be running.

I don't know about you but my mail updates itself without the app being open.

IF PEOPLE KEEP MALICIOUSLY CLOSING CALLS UNDER "DUPLICATE" FLAGS ... I'M THE F**K OFF THIS SERVER - NEVER TO RETURN.
msknight ( 2014-01-07 20:43:43 +0300 )editmsknight: you're complaining about behaviour but frankly, reading your above comment really shows you're not playing by the rules. sorry to say, but another similar comment with offensive material and I'll have to take measures. Please understand, and keep cold headed, thank you...
