Can it be done in bulk or do I have to go back to my Z10?

Bluetooth sync with my Z10 fails.

Ah. I see this is done in Apps, not System settings, but BB10 is not an option.

Solved for Mavericks. I don't know if it should be left open for BB10 bluetooth.

Also for BB10. See below.

Export contacts to .vcf in Mavericks, send the file to Jolla via BT?

http://support.apple.com/kb/PH15080

(Just tested with one contact, works for me. Tap the downloaded .vcf file on your Jolla and it will import the contacts.)

I finally managed to get the file from the beach balling Mavericks Contacts application.

I thought there was a problem with the phone disconnecting in Bluetooth, but it is just like that. You click on the device and there's a menu with a send file option (never did this before).

I thought I would get some prompt in the phone to accept the file, but no. So I went to look in the notifications and there the file was, and clicking on it imported everything.

Now it is more important to have the Exchange directory search integrated for calling than implementing a 2-way sync application like BlackBerry Link, that can come second.

Thanks

Here is how you can transfer the contacts from BB10:

  • I could not find a way of sharing all contacts in the built-in application, only one by one. There are a variety of third-party contact managers and backup apps in BlackBerry world that allow you to save the whole thing as one .vcf
  • Then you need to select the .vcf in the File Manager of BB10 and activate the share action, where you can select Bluetooth, and then the target phone which you have paired
  • From here, it is the usual in the Jolla: open the notification panel, select the file and import.
