This has been discussed a long time ago in the community meetings and would be nice to have an answer from someone at Jolla. ( @cybette @iekku @eric or anyone else)

There was supposed to be a tool so that the community could help with translations of the OS. Any update?

Also what happened to the additional keyboards. We are still missing stuff (official) or the ability to add layouts to the store.

Shameless bump because @bijjal didn't mention anything in the january email. Come on people this is quite an important issue. And is one of which the community CAN help.

13/8/2015: We are right before launching SFOS 2.0 and some update on the situation would be more than welcome.

@ApB: We're currently working in this iteration on opening a Community tool allowing localization submissions, more information coming very soon about this specific enabler... I'm not going to use the "stay tuned" gimmick this time, as this is effectively coming soon now. Thanks a lot for your patience!

Thanks for the answer. Does this also include new keyboard layouts or allowing community made in the store? (my main gripe with the situation)

I expect that jolla will give some importance here as is inimaginable in 2015 to not be able to use your language in a smartphone. The resourses shouldn't be a problem as we are volonteers to help.

Yes we have German. But we can still help for new apps, re-writes and fixing glitches. (They exist in German UI)

Good! I feared I was late ;-) HOW shall I find out when it does, cap'n? Speaking of keyboard: RO has a few special problems re punctuation not present in any other Romance language.
