The Indiegogo page pictures about tablet's specs still say:

Capacity: 32GB + SD slot

and

System I/O: Micro-SD slot up to 32GB

Shouldn't Jolla marketing team update the pictures so people get they have microSDHC support? (without reading the whole stuff - we know, people are lazy).

There is not such thing as 128Gb SDHC, so an update is definitely needed

3.3.2 Card Capacity Classification

In terms of card capacity, three types of SD Memory Cards are defined:

  • Standard Capacity SD Memory Card (SDSC) supports capacity up to and including 2 G bytes (231 bytes). All versions of the Physical Layer Specifications define the Standard Capacity SD Memory Card.
  • High Capacity SD Memory Card (SDHC) supports capacity more than 2 G bytes (231 bytes) up to 32 G bytes and is defined from the Physical Layer Specification Version 2.00.
  • Extended Capacity SD Memory Card (SDXC) supports more than 32 G bytes (235 bytes) up to 2TB.

The SD card reader should support UHS-II microSDHC which is the current highest performance, the rest is up to Jolla team.

No because the stretch goal N°1 even if reached is still there to clarify that the 128 GB microSDHC has been reached indeed as a stretch goals and wasn't there from the beginning

Of course, but they could simply cross the old specs and write the new one. As I said, some people are lazy and don't read the whole story.

Please read the Thread related to the stretch goal. It's a matter of licensing even advertising with 'SDXC with up to 128GB' needs a license from the SD right owners. At this stage Jolla is thinking about what they are doing with the first stretch goal because many voted against paying license to Microsoft for exFat-Format, which is the only one to support SDXC, so everyone advertising or using SDXC officially has to pay to SD right owner and Microsoft. So please keep calm until they made their official statement related to this topic and I'm pretty sure the marketing department will indeed change specifications.

Updates should be done to correct any false information. For example 128Gb SD-card is correct, 128Gb SDHC isn't.

You're right, I missed that point. Anyway I think they will change with the next official statement relating the first stretch goal ;)

Thanks. Too bad we didn't notice this earlier, any even small errors are not nice for the marketing. But they'll fix it sooner or later ;)
