Is it possible to have WiFi ac for the coming tablet. I think this feature would help keep the tablet competitive with the like of Nokia N1.

You won't have any advantages of the ac setup. But a 5GHz will do much more for your connection. A speed of 150 or 300 Mbit will be quick enough for any tablet use. So adding a power consumer to get 1+ Gbit is not the way to go.

From the information on WiFi ac, it is the way to go. Look at the Nokia N1 or the new iPhone (Apple don't adopt a new standard that will hinder the performance of their products).

I second the opinion of @DDH87 that ac is just a psychological gadget for tablets and of no significant practical use ... practically achievable speeds will be anyway far away from 1 gbps
