I'm currently working on a VOIP client for my Jolla phone. It is based on the Mumble protocol and is about 80% compatible with the desktop Mumble client. The only major thing currently missing is voice encryption. This client will not have support for chat until a later version. Two voice codecs are used: Opus for high quality and a very low bitrate codec (1200 bps) for maximum bandwidth efficiency.

Status of the project is working voice and channel switching. Let me know if there is any interest in this project, I am considering open-sourcing it, but I have some issues with the QML UI and would appreciate some help from someone more experienced with QML.

I would be very interested in this :) Can't help much with QML though.. I've only ever used QT proper.

@adr.an: Hi, I were going to do my own Mumble client for Jolla (I more want the text side than speech side, but anyway), but I guess there is no sense duplicating the work, do you still need help with this one?
