I want to delete some facebook contacts (non-person accounts for example) but they reappear again, probably because the app syncronizes with facebook and adds them every time I delete them. It could be a new section for deleted contacts where you could move the facebook contacts you don't need. That way when syncing with facebook it would not add the contact again. Well, any other solution that makes the deleted contact not come back every time is OK.

it is not only facebook contacts that reappear again, hotmail contacts also do that.. I think it is a bug

I guess you want to have these contacts hidden instead ? Sailfish OS do not support server-side deletion right now.

Yes, maybe I didn't explain it very well. I want to hide/local-delete them.

It was the same with n900 and I have accepted it as "there's no way around it", but if you could add a 'hide' switch for selected contacts, that would be awesome.

I would change this to "hide selected contacts", since I have some fb and google contacts that I don't need in my phone and others that I do. Examples to be hidden are non-person accounts and ones that only contain info not pertaining to phone use - but at my own discretion.

You can create a "virtual" contact and link all contacts you want to hide.

In this case, it will not be really "hide", but you have only one contact that you can rename with "z" character to display it at the bottom of the list...
