I have four TOH covers. Black, White, Aloe and POppy.
I keep changing the TOH covers from time to time but the ambience doesnt change by itself anymore. What can be the reason?

Hi, thats by design.
it only changes to the ambiance it installs on the very first time you connect a new TOH. Most people (me included) got annoyed when ambiance changed when connecting TOH in earlier versions of SailfishOS.
If it is by design, then why does my Jolla activate when applying a TOH? (Ambience already installed).
I have 8 ambiences and 3 original TOH's. I just tried this (SF 1.1.1.26) by setting Ambience to a home made one, then changing the TOH. The connection chime sounds and the ambience changes appropriately. So, I don't believe it is by design (although that may have varied thoughout the different OS releases?)
