Please include the quick scroll to top/bottom also in the native browser. Same way as it works in e.g. Tweetian or the Webcat browser.

As I understand it's a UI element that can be used for all apps, so it should certainly be used in the native browser.

EDIT: The quick scroll bar is also used in the native Mail app. Really strange it doesn't feature in the browser...

Update: Surprised to not see this in revamped Browser UI (1.1.2.15 release) !

If you are scrolling more times and fast on the edge of the screen, than it's "fast scrolling".

Yes, been wondering why it is not available in browser. Added in github as well. https://github.com/sailfishos/sailfish-browser/issues/260

@torcida I haven't noticed that effect yet, can't reproduce it right now. I also think it would be better if it works the same throughout the system.

I think this is a bug, because of inconsistency.

Likely reason for the omission is that Jolla browser doesn't use native widgets for browser page view. In other words Gecko web rendering engine is doing the scrolling instead of Qt widgets, so the wanted behaviour would need to be reimplemented for Gecko engine using its APIs and features.

Thanks for the clarification. However, it does not seem like an insurmountable challenge to implement some form of quick scroll. I like the way it works in Opera on Android.
