What is this Airplane Icon? [answered]

Airplane icon in place of 2G/ 3G/ 4G is confusing. This appeared after last but one upgrade and is still continuing to appear even after latest upgrade.

Have no clue what is causing this. I have tried reset/ hard reset which does not delete my data/ apps but simply re-installs OS I suppose.

Have not observed any feature de-gradation or otherwise, but it does not give me confidence that the OS on the phone is what it is supposed to be.

Do you use patchmanager? It loooks very similar to the flight mode.

Looks like you've enabled flight mode. Settings -> System -> flight mode.

@tortoisedoc I had it installed and later removed it before upgrade, now I do not run it. Flight mode is disabled. @Fuzzillogic Flight mode is disabled, else the WiFi icon would not appear

Maybe some patch removal failed?

but maybe you have that bug I also had in the past. the flight mode icon was always displayed, but the phone was not in flight mode. look here: https://together.jolla.com/question/50265/airplane-icon-displayed-on-homescreen-but-mode-not-activated/ I had to reset the phone to get rid of that. The Problem began (for me) when i had these Problems with disk space: https://together.jolla.com/question/30822/root-and-home-disks-full-and-causing-various-problems/
