Hi to all. Can someone explain me how to prevent mail checking at night ?

When I go to Setting -> Accounts -> Choose mail account, Here you have option to change "Sync emails" to Custom. These parameters I chose:

Peak Interval: Every 30 min
Off-peak interval: Every 30 min
Peak time starts: 06:30
Peak time ends: 02:00
Peak days: All days

From what I understand it should stop checking at 02:00 (am), but when I checked it after 02:00 I saw it still checking... What the problem ?

And what this exactly "Off-peak interval" ?

Thanks

If your peak time is from 6:30 to 2:00 then your off-peak time is from 2:00 to 6:30 and off-peak interval determines how often mail is checked in off-peak time. So you should set off-peak interval to "twice a day" that is longest available interval at the moment.

Even better is to set the off peak interval to manual. It will never sync by itself.

But it not have manual option under off-peak interval..

OK. Then the manual option is only for the Exchange type.

After day of testing I can say this setting not work... Email app stopped checking mails every 30 m like it should to do between 06:30 to 02:00 :(

Any idea ?
