I currently live in the USA, and I have been following Jolla for some time now, and I was a very disappointed by how Jolla did not ship to the USA. I was very excited when I purchased the Tablet. So I was wondering whether they'd ship the Jolla 2 to the US?

It could happen only if you give some help first: talk to your Congressman/Congresswoman and ask him/her to change that current id10tic patent law.
Then small companies like Jolla will have some chances to survive in the US field.

I suspect this will largely depend on the SoC they end up using, and if they have enough funds to go through the necessary certification process for selling mobile phones in the US.
The Jolla1 certainly lacks the hardware for full functionality in the US, but the Jolla2 might be a different situation.
But I can't imagine you will get your answer before the Jolla2 is fully announced, hopefully at the upcoming MWC15 event which is only a few months away.
