[feature request] disable AP from saved networks list manually [answered]

The settings -> wlan saved networks list allows to forget an AP or disable it. However, the disable operation does only work on the currently accessible APs. My saved networks list has entries for several AP that I do not "visit" (in terms of travelling) frequently, that I would like to disable, and not to forget?

It's a restriction from ConnMan side, the services (wlan ssids) which are not in the coverage of the device are non-modifiable. On upstream ConnMan you can't even "forget" them..

This is very annoying... In my case I have set up the company wlan on my Jolla. But when I go outside of the office, the wlan is very weak and the connection is constantly switching between the wlan and mobile network. Then I would like to disable the AP, but I have to wait until it "connects", and have to be fast enough before it loses the connection again.

ConnMan then needs to change, it would be nice as well to add a description/comment to SSID entry since quit often they do not have meaningful names, e.g. <isp>-103C0 ...</isp>

Then settings needs to ship around that shortcoming, you can edit the files by hand and connman reads them when activated again - maybe if connman is so full of sh..ortcomings, another solution has to be found or connman upstream be made to fit

I agree that a solution must be found for this, either changing conman or applying a fix on sailfish side.
