jolla could organize community challenge [not relevant]

@cemoi71 Great idea! I would also propose for Jolla team to look once more through this list and select some of the items, which could be implemented as an app. Consider some of the features that may be of a big demand among users, but not in the first raw of Jolla's development road map. So this would be a mutual benefit. Jolla would save it's resources for any other more urgent tasks, and all our community would get new great features. People powered! :-)

@rburkhanov sorry for my long reaction on your comment. i don't want to offence you, but it seems to me that you don't really understand the meaning of thread. You give a huge list of reference of needed function bugs and leak. The principe is not to challenge jolla to put things inside the device. but to bring jolla some program which challenge the community to give their own experience, ideas and solutions on needed solutions. Making their ecosystem more community opened, more fun together. i don't know how could i better explain.

@cemoi71 It's ok, I do understand what you are trying to explain and there's nothing offensive in your words, just slightly different point of view. I was not talking about bugs, what I ment was some features people asking for. Some of those features are really in a long waiting list. For example, rington per contact (first asked Dec 29 '13), or a week-by-week view in calendar (Dec 25 '13), or printer support (Dec 29 '13). All three are more then a year old now, lots of people ask for them. Don't think these are bugs. And obviously, for now Jolla just don't have enough resources to implement everything the communitiy is asking for. So what's so wrong to ask developers to make some apps for these requests? And to support those apps with proper testing/advertising/reward? Isn't it a 'solutions on needed solutions' as you say? Is not that what you were talking about in your answer about mostly empty and unused lockscreen?

Anyway, I still support your idea.

you have on one point right. maybe should we wait for a jolla challenge and someone which present one of it. or simply soon could someone present his own solution for one of the issues on the app store. for my part i am not skilled on the programming on sailfish app. want in far future make some app. your list and other could be a source of inspiration, if at this time gives still some of them ;-)
