wlan/bt weak signal

in compare to my loved n97 (and all other phones including nokia, apfels... what i can turn on by now) with jolla i can connect only to wifi devices up to one wall, even home wlan is at 1/4 , i get full signal about half meter from the wlan router.
jolla see 3 wifi arround, all at 1/4 low level signal - getting disconnect sometimes from home wifi others see 12 or more wlans, home has full signal there (across house) and others are accurate to their distance
even bluetooth i was surprised why i am not able to send file over bluetooth just becouse 2,5m distance and thin wall, then it worked fine in distance about 40cm (with other phones no issues even from toilet ;D )
it this wrong piece of jolla with broken antenna or feature?
edit: got second device - it is same, weak signal / low tranfer rates, disco/reco... so i had to take photo with some other devices including nokia e7, nokia 700, iphone,ipads and nokia n97 was out of view, but all shows same or similar, just lot of AP, perfect and stable to my own AP even at work spots
