Auto answer incoming calls after configurable amount of time/rings. Really useful for me when with headset or driving.

EDIT: As it seems that Jolla in not considering adding this functionality in foreseeable future OS updates - may be some developer is willing to help with it?

EDIT 15.08.2014: Still missing in 1.0.8.19 and no word about it from Jolla crew.

EDIT 09.11.2014:Thanks to @evk - an application adding this functionality to Jolla is already available: http://flum.net/harbour-answer-0.1-1.armv7hl.rpm

I am hoping somebody from Jolla team can comment on this missing feature.

Definitely! I use the phone while driving a lot, and auto answer would really help me as I wouldn't have to take my hands of the wheel.

This should be just a simple configurable option for the Phone application.

Only as option please

@ortylp Of course we are discussing an option that can be set ON/OFF by the user.

This feature should be also available when connected to car's speakers without bluetooth connection too.

Still beta though. Seems to work, but not very well tested.

Its working quite well. I tested it a couple of times. Any idea on who is the developer?

Rosemary ( 2014-11-08 13:50:08 +0200 )edit

@evk is the developer! :) And I haven't tested extensively, but I do not see any hiccups so far.

@evk I have a small request. Automatically enable auto answer when connected to speakers, headsets etc. would be quite helpful.
