[Bug] Media player buttons do nothing

This is somewhat rare, but has happened a few times. I'm not sure if it's a bug with touch events as a whole or just media player.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open media player.
- Tap on any of the artist/album/song etc buttons.
Expected outcome:
- The corresponding menu opens (e.g. album or artist menu)
Actual outcome:
- Nothing happens, but the button flashes as if it was highlighted.
Workaround / temporary fix:
- Reboot the phone.
