mediaplayer does not play downloaded media if a song is already running

lets say i am playing song A and i pause it in media player and i download another song B when i click on B via TRANSFERS in settings only the paused song A continues to play and not the new song B.
If song A is already running song B is put to the queue but never runs and now when i try to switch to next song i cannot switch to next song.
