Hello,
I would like to have GPS position unless maps app is open.
So to have position directely from the sensor.
The problem with maps app, it's that this app consumes internet data.

In the Jolla store you find the app "HelloGPS", it does exactly what you want. It shows the raw GPS position data

There you can have a look how to get the GPS data from the library.
