[Minor request] Alarm clock and alarm predefinitions on one page.
I often use the alarm clock in Sailfish. Its pretty annoying then to have the page for a "new" setting opened when I just want to select an already defined preselection. Why not compact the UI and have both settings on ONE page?
So my request is this: put the preselections above the circles for a new alarm setting. So you have fast access for selecting an alarm time irrespective of the way to set.
As already mentioned (https://together.jolla.com/question/85836/general-request-dense-information-compact-ui-decrease-menu-depth-if-possible/) please dont fragment the UI to much just for "nice" empty space.
Just a small note: another request targeting the alarm clock UI is this... https://together.jolla.com/question/8561/alarm-clock-setting-alarm-not-in-line-with-ui/

ssahla ( 2015-03-21 20:30:32 +0200 )edit... I agree with you though, it would be nice to have both time selection and saved alarms available immediately.
Actually, I would like a simple alarm clock that would function like a traditional (analog) alarm clock: Just set the alarm time (default being what I used last time) and set it on with a flick, and saving the alarm as a preset would be optional. (I set my morning alarm at 7:00 or 7:15 or 7:30 or 8:00 or 8:30 or something else, depending on the agenda of the day, and I'll end up with a long list of saved alarms if I create a new alarm for each. It would be easier to just adjust it from what I had this morning.) I think with a little bit of tweaking of the Clock app UI it could be used in this dead simple way, without losing any of the functionality it has now.
ssahla ( 2015-03-21 21:27:10 +0200 )edit@ssahla: for me its vice versa - I first see the new alarm site and have to use pulley menu to get the predefined alarms. Do you have the last SailfishOS version installed? Did you make a special configuration for alarm clock somewhere?
M.Bln. ( 2015-03-22 11:43:12 +0200 )editWell that's strange. I'm running 1.1.2.16. No special configuration for the Clock app.
