Ambiences disappear after deleting images [released]

After moving a bunch of holiday pictures to my private storage I realised that almost all of my ambiences had disappeared because the referenced image was not on the phone any more.
As ambiences are "created" in gallery app, I expected them to remain on the phone, i.e. that images are not simply referenced but copied to some dedicated ambience folder. Basically this is also what gallery app suggests on UI with its different sections pictures, videos, ambiences.
It is almost impossible to find all referenced images of ambiences before moving images away from the phone, so hopefully this will be improved.
I confirm the same broken expectations. Particularly considering that creating an ambiance creates a copy of the image in a different resolution and form factor.

That is very confusing, especially now with the new UI without an easy switch for muting the volume. It seems that the preferred way of handling situations is to have different ambiences like "Silent" or "Work". I tried to create a duplicate ambience to act as the silent one but failed.
