How to get Quizduell 1.8.0 running? [answered]

Hi,

I downloaded the quizduell 1.8.0 apk and installed it. When I try to create an account I get the message that there is a newer version that I need to update to but I cannot find one. Is it possible to run Quizduell without Amazon or Google Play Store?

[update: 24.04.15] I got it partially to work after creating an account on another phone. First thing I did was updating the Aptoide Store. Now when I hit update the store finds the app but I cannot update since I already have the newest version installed as Aptoide is telling me. I was able to add a friend and start a game with a friend but I am not able to do a random game. If I try that I get the "you have to update" message.

[update: 01.05.15] The app works okay but I cannot use the chat function play a game against a random player.

This has nothing to do with Jolla or Sailfish OS, you can try an apk downloader to download the apk from google-play.

if u have the possibility to create an account on another phone it will work with 1.8.0. sadly Quizduell wont auto refresh so u have to do it manually.

Update: version 2.1.9 functional (again) since Taaloärvi (2.0.1.7 early access) (still manual update needed)
