When I hear music through headphones my Jolla plays it also through the loudspeaker. Normaly a phone recognizes the headphones and switches automatically to them. So how can I get rid of hearing music through the loudspeakers when using headphones?

@iamamiwhoami - Please clarify if you are using wired or unwired headphones?, also, have you tried another pair of headphones? (It should be noted at this point that compatibility of headphones with Jolla is not written in stone - some headphones perform correctly, some don't - please try other headphones).

Your question is also a duplicate, albeit, the original question was never answered; https://together.jolla.com/question/51625/musics-play-on-speakers-and-headphones-on-the-same-time/ - the poster suggests simply rebooting may solve the problem??

You may want to look at removing and reinstalling pulseaudio, this is what controls the audio on your phone.

Possible solution (I Just did this on my Jolla 1.1.4.29 even though I have no audio problems, but afterwards, my audio is still working).

Open Terminal, type; pkcon remove pulseaudio [enter] - as the driver is being removed, the 'new' driver then gets automatically downloaded and installed, you may need to reboot the device for the changes to take, I didn't on mine. Your audio should now be working correctly, if not, then perhaps to take a ticket with Jolla Care and see what they say.
