Sailfish OS SDK update 1504 released

Hi,

The Sailfish OS SDK update 1504 has been released. This update has the latest 1.1.4.29 build environment, updated documentation and some updates in the examples. The new Rpmvalidator now allows QtPositioning (C++ and QML APIs), qt5-qtdeclarative-import-sensors and qt5-qtmultimedia-plugin-audio-pulseaudio. It will be taken into use by the Harbour Store QA tomorrow 6th May onwards.

If you have an older release of the SDK already installed, you should see an update notification in the SailfishOS IDE. View more information in the release notes and also check out the known issues page.

Having trouble with installation on Win8.1 x64, merssh generatekeys failed, have to install this to fix problem: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8328

That's also what the install instruction says you'll need. Only they are linking the complete Visual studio downloads, instead of the Redistributable Package. Links on instruction page should be replaced or clarified.

@eson: The Visual C++ package version is mentioned in the installation instructions, but yes we could point the link directly to the url that coderus pasted. The fix will not be a part of the upcoming SDK release, but it will be included in the next release after that.
