Spotify UI doesn't load after phone reboot
Spotify app for android only shows black screen and the menu button after a phone restart. Reinstalling the app acts as a workaround until the next phone restart.
The app doesn't do this on actual android device, so I suspect it's a Jolla bug.
I'm using the same app a lot and never had this problem. So I don't think it's some kind of Jolla bug. Are you using the latest version?
Where did you download it from? I used to use Spotify from the Amazon store. At each startup, the app connected to the Amazon store (creepy!) - if it couldn't connect, the app showed this black screen with menu button as well and then crashed.
So I assume that your app can't connect to some service of the internet at startup.
molan ( 2015-05-30 09:10:33 +0200 )edit@caprico - That's curious. I use the one from Play store and it's up to date I'd suspect. Although I'm not sure if there's something wrong with Play, perhaps I should try reinstalling the whole thing.
That connection issue might very well have something to do in this case as well, as my Jolla is very inconsistent in providing 3G/4G/wifi for android apps, sometimes it's just impossible to connect until a phone reboot.
