Phone misbehaves if I've been sweating too much
When I have the Jolla in my trouser pocket, and then do physical activities that cause me to sweat a lot, weird things seem to happen. I usually have the touchscreen towards my body (to prevent screen damage if I bump into things, though it probably also increases the risk of sweat touching the display).
Two things seem to frequently happen when I get too sweaty: 1) the phone somehow unlocking and random actions being taken, which may include pocket dialing (the proximity sensor seems to not prevent this, for some reason) 2) app UIs don't respond and update properly (Lipstick works and updates fine, but apps do not), making the phone effectively unusable until I reboot (how this occurring is even possible baffles me)
Is there some bug with the proximity sensor that causes it to not realize that it's in my pocket and shouldn't unlock?
You can test the proximity sensor with the CSD tool.
If it fails contact care.

And secondly it might leave some film over the proximity sensor which might mess up its readings. The second thing you see where lipstick works but the apps not has been seen before, sometimes it seems an invisble keyboard comes and grabs the input. I think a fix for that issue is in one of the upcoming releases.
