Compress video/photo for mail
Hello everyone,
recently I wanted to send a video I took via Mail. Unfotunately the 2 min clip was about 200 Mb, so I canceled my attempt.
Any possibility to resize/compress it to a suitable size (max. 10 mb) before sending it?
Cheers Mika
This function is really needed especially if you send pictures by mobile connection and have a limited transfer volume.

These file types usually employ efficient techniques to compress the data they contain. Examples include, but are not limited to, graphic (picture) files (GIF, JPG, PNG, etc), music files (MP3, WMA, etc), and movie files (AVI, MPG, etc). Files that are compressed, as these examples are, usually cannot be compressed more to any significant extent. (Therefore, such files don't get much, if any, smaller when they are added to say something like a zip file).
Had you continued to send your video over email, you may well find it gets rejected, as the file size may possibly exceed the email servers limit.
