Hej hej Sailors,

as mentioned above I have been unable to update any further. I receive the "update available" notifications, an able to download the update, but after a short while the update process stops (never got any further than maybe 20% at the white progress bar), and I get the notification that it cannot be installed at the moment and the hint that I should try again later.

My memory has more than 1.5GB of free space (around 7GB on System, 8GB on MMC), I disabled all Patchmanager patches, and I was able to close the OpenRepos gap quite a while ago (otherwise I wouldn't be unsing 1.1.4.28, right?). What else could be a reason for that stubborn anti-update behavior, and is there a way to create an update logfile to view for troubleshooting? Early-adopter subscription doesn't make much sense if there's nothing to test...

Thank you for patience and help.

EDIT: The issue has been answered - it was the ClamAV background activity. Thanks for your quick help :)

what does 'btrfs fi show' say regarding freespace?
did you install clamav somewhen in the past?

Reboot and try again.

Thanks for your response, guys - btrfs fi show gets me

ERROR: unable get label Inappropriate ioctl for device Label: 'sailfish' uuid: 0f8a2490-53ed-4ff6-ba34-b81df34303 87 Total devices 1 FS bytes used 7.32GiB devid 1 size 13.75GiB used 10.32GiB path /dev/mm cblk0p28

and it looks like clamav is installed, though I must have done that looong ago... do you think that hinders the current updates? Btw, the repository for that (NielDK) isn't even installed anymore since 1.1.4.28...

Edit: reboot-retry didn't work 6 times now... I think that's unlikely to change all by itself

I actually love that Jolla integrated a sort of fail prevention to the updates! I had the same "try again later" message after trying to update with phonehook installed. After removal of phonehook, the update went through fine :D
