Because I find the pling-y default Jolla wake-up alarm to be ghastly hearing in the morn, I had set up my own alarm sound from the Settings and was happy to wake up to mellow tunes of Pachelbel.

Now after the update, and freshly after using the alarm the first time, the sound settings still state I have my Pachelbel as my alarm sound, but the tune it played was the default Jolla alarm. Could it be that the Ambience sounds are once more over-riding the user's personal settings from the Settings? I believe that particular inconvenience already got fixed for a while recently, but is it now back with a vengeance?

I am pretty sure the Ambience setting always has overridden the default setting. It is rather unintuitive, but it is my understanding, that this will improve vastly in SFOS 2.

Hmh. Did the update then revert the Ambiance (Moonship in my case) back to its default sounds instead?

I may have had changed my alarm sound from there, too, after finding out that Ambiance sounds take preference over system Settings sounds, but after the update the Ambiance has Jolla Alarm for alarm sound again.

... but, then again, my pre-update custom setting of no email sound in the Moonship Ambience has not reverted. Curiouser and curiouser.
