Hello,

I installed latest v.1.1.7.24 update and everything is working fine now, but i found some spelling or grammatical mistakes in German Language.

  1. Settings > Android support

[...] wenn diese Option ausgeschalten ist

The correct conjugation have to look like this:

[...] wenn diese Option ausgeschaltet ist

  2. Settings > Apps Android > Setting "Starten von Hintergrunddiensten aktivieren"

as the wrong description is the opposite:

    Diese Option deaktiviert auch Benachrichtigungen...

    it have to look like:

    Diese Option aktiviert auch Benachrichtigungen...

Please fix this issues untill final release.

"ausgeschalten" looks like a bavarian native speaker ;-)

... or a Swiss native speaker :-)

Ausgeschalten sounds normal to me, too. Sure that this is wrong?

ad 1.: Looks like you're technically correct with "ausgeschaltet" vs "ausgeschalten": http://canoo.net/blog/2010/11/23/ausgeschaltet-und-ausgeschalten/

ad 2.: Instead of "Diese Option deaktiviert auch..." it should be more like "Das Ausschalten dieser Option deaktiviert auch..."; or maybe you have a suggestion for a better one? The Engineering English text is: "When this is off, you won't get app notifications", the English (USA) text is: "When this is off, you don't get app notifications"

"Das Ausschalten dieser Option deaktiviert auch die Benachrichtigungen"

sounds very good

The changes will be in the next big release, not in a subrelease.

The second mistake has been corrected for Sailfish OS 2.0, but the first spelling mistake is still not fixed in SFOS 2.0 (Saimaa).

The fix is in our translation tool but don't know why it shows up incorrectly. Hopefully the next release will have the fix. Thanks for your comment and good eyes!
